Tradition Rose is composed of 60% Pinot Meunier, 25% Pinot Noir 15% Chardonnay addition of 18% red wine from plots varying from clay Limestone and Limestone marls. Roughly 30% reserve wine is used for Tradition Rose but this does depend on each vintage. Receiving 36 months maturation on the lees, this Rose has a silky pink colour with hints of gold. Fine bubbles. An expressive bold and delicate nose of red fruits. Smooth on the palate with mineral freshness, balanced with flavours of summer berries.

For the tradition range, Jean Marc Charpentier source the grapes from his own vineyards and also from his neighbours whom he incentivise to upgrade to organic viticulture. He accompany each one of them step by step in their conversion and act as a mentor.
Geology and Soil: Clay limestone and limestone marls. Viticulture: Sustainable viticulture. Fermentation: Stainless steel, temperature controlled tanks; malolactic fermentation completed; red wines vinified from old vines. Assemblage and Reserve Wines: Selection blended with red wine and up to 30% of reserve wines, depending on the character of each vintage. Ageing: 36 months maturation on the yeasts. Disgorging: 6 months prior to shipping. Dosage: 7 g/l.
